Super game. Ex Cod Developer Mark Walhberg did an amazing job on this one. Never gonna play call of duty again. All the nagative reviews are coming from cod cheaters here

Very nice FPS!
I really enjoy XDefiant because of the faster paced gameplay, it’s very nice that they didn’t add SBMM.
But I sadly can already tell that this game is going to die out very soon…

Gameplay is fun and very reminiscent of bo2 with hero shooter abilities. Solid objective modes and creates that fps cod high of going 40 and 9 or just barely eeking out the win. Weapon progression seems alright and pretty standard but weighs on the more grindy side depending on the type of gamer you are this could be good or bad. Maps are a huge positive they’re varied in size and look and while definitely a cod type map I found myself switching up my weapons and load outs depending on the map. Animations do feel clunky at times especially in regards to the melee and climbing. Some balancing issues but could be fixed over time. UI is not that great looking bland and very clearly Ubisoft. The same could be said for the art style personally not a fan really fails to create its own identity. Borrowing from the different Ubisoft franchises for characters is a cool idea considering how expansive their catalogue is but would have preferred a more unique visual flair. It comes off basic Ubisoft and if you had shown me these characters models I couldn’t have told you they were from a different game than where they originally come from. Overall xdefiant is a mixed bag. It doesn’t bring anything new the genre but I don’t think that’s the point. It focuses on doing well what it is copying. Personally I don’t think a “cod killer” is possible. Cod has too much of a budget and is too well known not just for gamers but the wider public as a whole. That being said if you keep expectations in check you have a solid offering here. It’s free and no major fps is releasing at the moment so it’s easy to get into and your not missing out on any other major release in the genre. I don’t know if the game will have longevity but I could see a world where it develops a more niche following and is a nice rotator in the downtime of other games.

One of the worst experience I’ve ever had. Game is super clunky, especially controls, graphics like in 10 y old R6 Siege and of course there is a cross play but you can not use M&K on consoles… I played few matches and I had enough

N'invente rien, n'apporte rien, maps sympa sans intérêts, les persos ne sont pas équilibrés. Ubisoft prouve encore une fois qu'ils n'ont pas d'idées et qu'ils se fichent des joueurs et qui ne pense plus à rien qu'au fric (le jeu est gratuit mais propose au cas ou un pack à 70€)
