  1. Duke Nukem 64, while certainly not the fulfilling banquet that Rare's Goldeneye proved to be this year, is definitely meaty enough to fatten you up. Even if you feel like you're drowning in first person shooters these days, Duke 64 delivers enough innovative secrets and bullet riddled action to silence your cries.
  2. N64 is a great FPS. Its not ground-breaking, or cutting edge, just good, solid shoot’em up fun.
  3. The definitive action game for hardcore gun fetishists -- it''s second only to Goldeneye in the first-person adventure stakes, and a close second at that!
  4. It's sad but unsurprising that the game's look pretty much duplicates the original PC game. While texture-mapped scenery looks a little better, all monsters, items, and basically anything changeable in the environment are implemented as sprites - essentially, sets of still pictures that show the same character in different perspectives. It's not very vivid.

Loved this game even with all of it' shortcomings. I hope Duke finally makes his next generation debut sometime this year. One of my faves in the N64 era. Expand
  3. Girls, pigs, shotguns. Need to say more? One of those classic games that makes you smile as you destroy everything on your sight. Oh, and Duke will become your favourite hero. Expand
Expand
