Outcast: A New Beginning is the sequel to Outcast, the cult video game released in 1999. In this installment, users can explore the alien world of Adelpha, where they can help the Talans in their hardships in the most exciting battles against hordes. of invading robots. This third-person, open-world adventure is developed by Appeal Studios.
Times like these I’m glad I get to blindly jump into games like Outcast - A New Beginning. I admit, I’d never give a game like this the time of day if I saw it on a shelf or in a Steam list or whatever. But I urge people out there who like retro sci-fi or classic games in that 90s PC style to give Outcast a shot. It’s charming and silly without being corny, and has a pitch-perfect game feel when it comes to flying around the world and fighting. The storytelling doesn’t hit any home runs, but the sum of the other parts hold the game up regardless. It’s a good time, and bigger, more expensive games could stand to learn a thing or two from it at the end of the day.

This game is just plain fun. They give you a jet pack at the beginning of the game. There’s tons of humor throughout even if it is corny…it’s appreciated. Loving the game so far!

We are not at the mythical levels of the first episode, it is evident. Outcast – A New Beginning is a sequel without infamy and without praise, net of a nostalgia effect which inevitably has its weight but cannot justify every shortcoming. Strengths and weaknesses are almost equal when it's time to take stock, appreciating it or not depends a lot on how much importance you give to both. This is one of those cases in which the price doesn't play in the work's favor, however with a discount it might be worth giving it a chance because there is only one Cutter Slade.
Outcast – A New Beginning presents an exciting adventure into the planet of Adelpha. While the innovative combat and environmental interactions are fun, the game is too similar to other open-world RPGs to truly stand out. Exploring Adelpha in its entirety is also challenging because several bugs hamper your progress, sometimes even crashing your game. The game may not break the barrier into greatness, but you can still easily have a good time if you look past the flaws.
A pleasing world and satisfying jetpack exploration aside, Cutter Slade's return is rarely out of this world.
Outcast – A New Beginning features dated storytelling, poor writing, and an overliance on tropes we’ve all seen a thousand times by now. If none of that matters to you, however, you’re in for a pretty ok gameplay experience, with some unique mechanics and freedom that thankfully allows you to bypass a lot of the game’s storytelling, no matter how confidently it seems to throw it in your face.
For me, Outcast: A New Beginning was really a tug-of-war between “it’s fun,” and “it’s driving me crazy.” While some features stood out to me, like the jetpack and weapon modules, they really couldn’t make up for the lackluster characters, a map that was just too big, and bugs that ruin the experience. Fans of the franchise may want to give it a try to compare to the classic experience as it’s undoubtedly a step up in terms of mechanics. However, it’s not necessarily something I would want to play again myself, which lowers my rating for the game overall, and honestly, restricts me from recommending it to others.
This game is fantastic and a great callback to games from the early 2000s. Nothing innovative, but who cares, it's all about old school escapist fun. Something most games and movies now keep forgetting. Very happy to see a game like this made again despite today's hypersensitive times.

Outcast: A new beginning was fun to play. The story is certainly one the best aspect of the game, including dialogues. Graphics are more then acceptable. That said you get some very visible drawing distance while gliding. And some minors but occasional frame rate issue. There are some bugs with the AI, that get stuck in corners or doesn't move. I got a bug with the main quest, at the end, where Freeing Gomork was failing. I had to do a side mission at the other end of the map and go back into the meeting room. That reset the enemies and characters in that room. A lot of side quest, in a form of mini games/fetch. 70% are fun, 30% are either annoying or boring. Combat is very active and smooth. The upgrade system is fine by me. Although the special gun/powers you get in villages are totally useless. I didn't use any of them. Gliding is fun. But I must say one of the village that is a the top of enormous spires is a real pain to do the first time. Because you have to manually jetpack climb over there not once, but twice because of the inactive gates. Even after that, it was one of the worst village to do mission in. Music is really great and I enjoy all the amazing sounds. I give it 75%. If not for all small bugs and some boring stuffs, I would say it was a good game. Took me around 24 hours to do.

This Remake game, which has an Open World Action-Adventure and Third-Person Shooter genre, is actually quite exciting! We become Cutter Slade, an Ex-Navy who appeared on Planet Adelpha, who was expected by the Talans to be Ulukai! Who will free the planet from the invasion of the WFA, led by Jack Boerum. Slade Mission in the first is collect 7 Daromon and Destroy 10 Drills! But Maybe too Long Mission and there are some stiff character movements!

I'm huge fan of the original Outcast. Sadly, this game totally lacks the magic, atmosphere or even the art style of the original. This is just a very limited, short and basic open world romp with very little for you to do or see in it. On top of that, the stories and NPC interactions are a joke. Only thing that reminds you of the original game is the suit the hero is wearing. This is not just huge disappointment, this is insult to the original masterpiece and its fans.

Vale, el juego en general es aburrido y repetitivo. No luce mal y tendria potencial en manos de alguien que entienda de videojuegos, pero no es el caso en absoluto.
Pero el cero que le pongo por el estúpido y deficiente sistema de misiones, lioso y demasiado complicado. Con títulos como Farcry de referente, no entiendo como se puede haber hecho todo tan mal.
Hay decenas de juegos mejores, incluso de hace 15 años.
