Actual Sunlight's depiction of depression is heartbreaking and hard to experience. [May 2013, p.81]

Actual Sunlight is a kick in the eye. An heartfelt journey through the thoughts and days of a hopeless working man that in the end decides to quit from life.

Actual Sunlight is a good narrative experience, which deals with mature and atypical themes. Despite a poor visual rendering, the story (witch is very short) is well written and gripping to the end.

I was also impressed to see a game made on RPG Maker VX Ace that was so enjoyable - often the products of the RPG Maker series serve as a way for a creative mind to explore ideas, rather than making it to a level where it can actually capture an audience.

Not even a game in the traditional sense, but I can safely say that if I'd played this ten years ago, I'd be a different person. Those who've experienced depression or loneliness will not likely find a more resonating experience within a video game. Written with brilliant and heart-wrenching honesty. Expand
