Is there a quality control dept at Steam? Well if there is then they must have been asleep at the wheel what a train wreck this game has turned out to be. There are no redeeming points to this this game. Graphics poor, Animation dodgy. Keyboard controls don't work.

Worst of all no practice nets. Whoever heard of a game of cricket without practice nets!

I was waiting for this game since this January 2013.I don't know why these guys released this game. The graphics is really below standard. The rating which codemasters had in market got spoiled.

505 apologized to the game's users, saying that the developers were (despite their experience with cricket video games) unable to build a suitable product on the engine they provided, and that "[the game] couldn't meet the quality benchmarks of either us, our licensors or our customers." The company also indicated that its current priority was to "protect the Ashes name and that of the ECB and Cricket Australia, and do what we can to recompense the cricket community." 505 have offered refunds to all who purchased Ashes Cricket 2013, and also cancelled plans to release console versions of the game.[161][162]

This is just not cricket. Or even a video game...

This Ashes Cricket 2013 does not match up to any cricket game I have played. Do not be
fooled by the "official licenses", I am not sure how the developers obtained those (Mind you, I can image the issuers of those licenses fuming right now.)

Look, I love cricket, I play cricket. I have played many cricket games. EA Cricket 2009 being on of the best I have played.

The usual cliched comment that cricket is not a big enough market is nonsense. Most popular sport in India (They've got a few people over there!), also Australia! Hugely popular in England, South-Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, West Indies, Sri-Lanka and others. Just make a decent game for a change, that does not favour certain teams. Sure bangladesh does not have the No.1 side at the moment, but why would a bangladesh supporter want a game that handicaps their favourite team by default? A well designed online competitive cricket game would surely rake in enough money!

Pathetic attempt at a game we all love so much. Even if we try to ignore the glaring bugs in graphics and animations, we just cannot accept a game which gets the basic fundamentals of the game wrong. .This game should be burnt to ashes. Expand

Absolutely terrible game clear bugs that just could not have been missed are there immediately. There are no difficulty settings, no online play and terrible performance issues. The controls and gameplay are a huge step back on previous games, and there are nearly no redeeming features. Avoid. Expand
