My 4 year old was so excited to get this game and try it out BUT it was pretty much a disappointment. My son loves playing Tony Hawk Pro My 4 year old was so excited to get this game and try it out BUT it was pretty much a disappointment. My son loves playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2/3 on the computer and I thought this would be great for him as the Tony Hawk series can get kinda tough for a 4 year old. This game kinda skews away from how Tony Hawk works which made it hard for him at first. One of the big complaints I have about the game is you cannot change your controller configuration and of course, the controls are laid out differently from the default Tony Hawk setup. I have a pretty standard gamepad (Microsoft Sidewinder) and the buttons assigned to it are pretty funky. With so many controllers available for a PC, I can't see how you can create a game without the basic functionality of being able to remap the controls. Also, controlling your skater is awkward. My son could move around better in Tony Hawk Pro Skater when he was 3 then he can with this game at 4.5 yrs. I REALLY wanted to like this game....but spend your money on Tony Hawk 2/3 which you can pick up for $5 - $10 now. Full Review »
