  1. Anyone who's never wanted a rocket launcher just once in San Francisco Rush, raise your crooked, lying hand.
  2. If you are bored with racers that are limited in the types of cars and racing situations, then you will love the variety that this one has to offer.
  3. 82
Stick to the Arcade game for maximum thrills or be committed to spending hours sorting through menu screens to get to the good stuff.
  4. The real beauty of BreakNeck---beyond the immediately apparent graphical dazzlery---is that you can play the game as a straighforward dumbass arcade racer, a more in-depth sim, or as the vicious evil twin of either one.
  5. If you're a racing fan, take "Breakneck" for a spin. You won't be sorry.
  6. The courses are challenging, and the range of vehicles makes it quite a bit of fun.
  7. The incredible selection of vehicles and slick visuals are only the icing on the cake that is "Breakneck."
  8. "Breakneck" is recommended for first-time entrants into the driving game genre because of its impressively rendered graphics and the novelty of its gameplay, but driving fans will get bored and frustrated very easily.
  9. The pure racing and car-combat experience is good when you get down to it, but the odd menu setup makes getting there tougher than it should be.
  10. In the end "BreakNeck" is an extremely ambitious arcade racer that turns out to be very good, rather than great, as it could have been.
  11. Driving fans will get bored and frustrated very easily.
  12. The first time you start it up, you’ll be ready to break the neck of the developers for making it incredibly difficult to get into one stinking race.
  13. While the actual gameplay can be addicting and quite fun, the game is hampered by an inexcusably confusing interface that can make it frustrating to navigate the menus between each race.
  14. I find it hard not to think that if they had ... put their efforts into refining the idea of racing with munitions, that "Breakneck" could very well be a runaway winner.
