Game has been out since 2012 and STILL has game-breaking bugs. Invading France through Belgium can sometimes cause Belgium to "surrender" and throw all your troops out. And then there's the timid AI, the fact that there's only one unit type worth building, and the many minor powers for the player to micromanage (Serbia, Romania, Greece).

You can now get this as mobile game, which is great since it certainly doesn't live up to PC strategy standards.

Commander: The Great War is the most accessible World War 1 strategy game I have yet encountered. While it may be lacking the complexity that some other titles in the genre can offer, it makes up for it with excellentCommander: The Great War is the most accessible World War 1 strategy game I have yet encountered.
