It's a game made all by sprites and frame by frame animations.
It is not intended to be a top seller 3D game, it is made by one sole developer.
The survival horror on a 2D platform gave me some thrills and I'm looking for more now.
Even tho the high price of the game right now, the cool thing is that I am one of the only to have Diacrisis screenshots in my Steam account, and everybody just loves it!!!
Everytime you play, you find a different room or a new diary page.
The game is GREAT, it is really something else!
I think on the sequel they can work more on the script, and gameplay mechanics!
the first one was good, but if there is a sequel I will surely be the first to play it!
I bought this game on a whim. Terrible idea, apparently. It is priced at $40 and claims to have 5 hours of game-play. I finished it in less than half that time. So, I paid $33 for a two hour game. Now, let's get to some specifics! Horrible character animations! Just awful. There are frames where the main character isn't even centered, so it creates twitchy visuals and it doesn't even touch the ground on slopes, or goes through the ground. The camera is rigid and not smooth. The zombies just move towards you, with no other form of AI. The lighting doesn't make sense most of the time. I have a decent pc (i7 7700k, 16gb ram, 1tb hdd, 1080 ti) and it never got 60fps. Average 54 on low settings, 39 on high, which is crazy because it's not even impressive graphics. Another trash game that's made its way into steam, but brave enough to charge anything, let alone $40.
SummaryRetake control of a maximum security prison full of terrifying unsolved mysteries, think fast to not get cornered by horrific zombie hordes in this 2D action packed thriller.
