Everspace provides some of the most unique experiences I’ve had in gaming this year, and it does so with style, featuring awe-inspiring visuals and intense gameplay, all without the budget and support of a AAA publishing studio.

A fine space roguelike which entraps you in its loop for a long time. Its difficulty could be a little frustrating at times, yet the overall experience is fresh and rewarding.

Everspace is a refreshing take on the roguelike genre from the creators of Galaxy On Fire. Set up in outer space, players will have to scavenge for resources and fight their way through procedurally-generated scenarios.

Everspace is a massive space shooter with roguelike mechanics and permadeath. It perfectly balances fighting, exploration and crafting, giving an extremely fun and satisfying experience. Every run is different from the previous one and you can discover something new every time, weird ways to die included.

EVERSPACE provides tons of fun and excitement with fast-paced space combat, but the roguelike system involves some repetitiveness.

Beauty only is not enough. Everspace delivers a beautiful universe to explore, along with a well written story, but almost everything else in the game is empty and repetitive.

A shining example of what a small developer with a big heart can accomplish.

If you liked FTL and Freelancer, you will absolutely love this gem.

I think the game lacks depth, in no time you find yourself doing the same thing over and over.

The target/lock system... today, XXI century we have missile defense systems, projectiles that bend in the air, snipers that can hit a target 3 km away with a led bullet, but in the galaxy, in a distant future, you need to aim with your mouse in a moving tiny little spot repeatedly to do damage with a gatling gun (invented in 1860) at 2 km (avg range when weapons can actually shoot), no.

To me is like FTL in 3D with great graphics and little of the gameplay. Ways to improve it? Change POIs and anything important relevant to another color. Make the lock-target area bigger, it is the future, computers are smarter!, allow more missiles or make them more destructive, instead of pausing the game when opening the craft option, allow this between jumps only, add a repair/refuel station option between jumps that takes credits, allow ships to carry more weapons usable at all times, something automatic at short range would be great.
