Red 5 are gamers who were sick with the same ol’ shooter and the same ol’ MMO. So they went out and started making a game they’d want to play. Somewhere along the way, they got a little lost, but they’re back on track and with a thriving but small community they’re onto something very special. It’s a little rough around the edges right now, but I’d heartily recommend Firefall to anyone who’s sick of the same old MMO fodder. Just be prepared to roll with the work-in-progress nature of the game, and you might be pleasantly surprised at the fun on offer.

Firefall has a couple of good ideas. It’s a good FPS with fun moments, but the missions are repetitive and boring, the PVP isn’t very good, and the game lacks content.

Firefall has its problems. There’s no denying that, but after spending a little time with it, I found myself having a pretty decent time. Sure, it does feel wonky at times, but I couldn’t help but keep playing.

In Firefall the clear line is missing. The game was changed so frequently during its long development time, and re-designed, that it's just mixed way up from many individual ideas in the end, but not really in harmony as a complete work.

It's a game I found myself enjoying in ever shorter bursts as the prospect of farming more XP and Crystite from yet another nest of alien bugs, or finding another lost family member for a crudely modelled NPC, became less and less enticing.

It's not a world that I want to stick around to save.

All Firefall’s opening does is shove your face right up against grubby textures, shoddy animations, and invisible walls. Your first two hours with it will see you retreading ground completing repetitive fetch quests for characterless NPCs in a world that does nothing to excite the eye...You have to wade through that swill of a beginning to understand Firefall’s potential.

Very Solid MMO Shooter Game Free To Play and absolute NO Pay to Win. It features all classic Different Classes,MMO leveling,Groups,Raids,Crafting, Market, Perks, Open World PVP, Team play also It improves MMO genre by Vertical jumpjet movement (you can fly shortly with jetpacks in air) design of world and skill based shooter mechanics and easy to learn quest mechanics doesn't require know foreign language.

    Cons?
-When servers crowded It feels crowded than it should be but this is launch week and every MMO I played goes to stable after launch week.
-Class balance and arena kind of game play should be implemented in future

Verdict: Very Good FreeToPlay game overall you must try

Firefall's finally launched, and it was worth the wait. Red 5 studios has completely remade the game that was known for it's 'eternal' beta, and now has a real gem: It has the progression and content flow of an MMO, but the fun moment-to-moment gameplay of a shooter. I'm having a blast. Only question on my mind is: which battleframe (character class) to level up next? Expand

This is just fun. Played Tribes before and Borderlands and this game feels like they combined the best things in both games.

    There's a
learning curve of course. PVP will need some improvement. Questing is remarkable and fun.

The best of all, the graphics is AMAZING. If you're looking for a beautiful game, this is it.

this game does not have good graphics, but i love the voice acting and such amazing map and actions. this game IS VERY LAGGY but turns out the graphics are not too good. there are too much objects (and entities) so the map is very messy (though its kind of beautiful) that you basically cant see the enemy. i didn't really enjoy the game. It used to be a shooter with open world and dynamic events, now its just another mmorpg with ridiculous level system for a shooter, segregating players with zone levels thus making a game not so "open world", pvp is broken, arena pvp is missing, nothing actually happening in game except job boards which are running simulator. There is no sign of any war going on, no diversity in weapons, no diversity in customizing a character, once you get max level 40 you got nothing to do in the game...in short, it is just sad what they have done to once brilliant original and mostly important FUN mmo shooter...
