  • Summary: "Gore is an online multi-player game with an offline single-player component so you can play by yourself if you do not have an Internet connection or want to practice. We have implemented many new things which we feel will have a profound impact on deathmatch plus other new and popular gaming styles. The Gore Production Team - which is build up of hard-core gamers, not accountants - has striven to create a balance of realism, interactivity, technology and most importantly, fun." Its arms, legs, face, and tender cushy butt are all average to the core, but the total package is still cuddly.
  2. Effective and fun. Solid gaming, plus the little addition of stamina and good use of character classes make it worth a go.
  3. I found Gore to be kind of mundane.
  4. The biggest problem with Gore is a lack of originality: None of its dimensions live up to the level of the best first-person shooters on the market in the last few years.
  5. If it had offered a more comprehensive and fun single player experience with a great storyline, it might be worth it for the legions of FPS fans.
  6. No one in their right mind should bother playing this game. There are so many better alternatives out there right now.
  7. Poor graphics, unbalanced weapons, and tired level design can't begin to help this game. [Sept 2002, p.90]

Even the singleplayer is fun to play. Especially later on in the game when you visit the cathedral or the cemetery with the skeletons with the chainsaws. Then it even gets scary. Expand
