  1. With its great mod community and minimal work on your part, you can make High Heat Major League Baseball 2003 one of the most rewarding baseball gaming experiences you could ever ask for.

Not much has changed since last year, and not much is different (other than the graphics) between the 2001 version and 2002.
  3. 70
I feel a little dirty giving a good score to what is basically last year's game, but the fact is there's little to no competition for High Heat on the PC.
  4. Fun to play but it's riddled with quirks and some problems.
  5. It's a shame to think that a great franchise could be tarnished by sheer carelessness. [June 2002, p.53]
  6. Nearly a carbon copy of High Heat 2002 in the way it looks and plays, and its only serious addition to the series is an array of bugs.
  7. I'll live with the skewed strikeout numbers and the other quirks, because there isn't a better game. [July 2002, p.70]
  8. Looks and plays almost exactly like the new addition to the High Heat series of a year ago.

  1. About as close as you can come to stepping onto the baseball field. It still amazes me the company (3DO) who produced the High Heat games went out of business. It must have been due to poor business management because it sure wasn't because of their game quality. If you can find this on ebay, snag it up. You'll love it. Full Review »

EVEN DOUGH IT DOESN'T HAVE GOOD GRAPHICS IT'S GOOD. THE THINGS I HATE ABOUT THE GAME IS THE SOUND, THE PITCHER GETS TIRED VERY FAST, AND YOU CAN MAKE ALOT OF HOMERUNS. IM PLAYING ALL STAR LEVEL AND IT'S SO EASY TO SCORE. IF YOU PLAY HALL AND FAME IT'S REALLY HARD TO PITCH. Full Review »

Great gameplay, decent graphics. All around a very enjoyable baseball game. There are a few shortcomings though, like the fact that your pitcher gets tired after throwing only 60 pitches or so, even if you're throwing with a workhorse like Randy Johnson or Kevin Brown. What's up with that? Full Review »
