So in the end, Laxius Force III provides a satisfying conclusion to this epic trilogy, and fans of Aldorlea's grand-daddy series will certainly be hooked for days, weeks, maybe even months.
Laxius Force 3 or just LF3 is the absolute best of the series and one of the most complex RPG ever.
It has so many quests and characters it is probably impossible to finish it entirely. A no-brainer 10 out of 10.
"Epic" is an over-used term, but really there is no other word that does justice to this magnificent ending to a superb trilogy. To get the best out of it you should play the first 2 parts, otherwise the full depth of the story won't be clear to you. And it's a story worth following in all its twists and turns, with emotional highs and lows. The gameplay is highly varied and will last around 100 hours, there are, iirc, about 150 side quests, a terrific array of characters, some exciting split party battles, and a tough Arena challenge, but one which is more than amply well-rewarded. Every detail has been carefully thought through. Naturally with a game like this, the replay value is huge.
Classic RPG of epic proportions! The game is fantastic but requires to have played the first 2 episodes to enjoy it to the fullest. Expect more than 100 hours of great gameplay and ingenious plot in this one.
The big finale of the trilogy. Around 100 hours of playtime, 40+ characters and absolutely crazy story. There are so many twists, unexpected events and strong moments that it's hard to believe. It's definitively for dedicated players only, but if you are willing to invest the effort into it, than it's more than worth it. If you are able to see beyond the "not AAA graphics", then none of the current "big RPGs" (Dragon Age, The Witcher, Mass Effect) can give you the same experience. For me it's the best game I've ever played and an unforgettable experience.
This game is a worthy finale of this awesome saga!
It's the biggest game of the three and you can literally play for weeks. Meanwhile there's a huge army following Random, Sarah and Luciana, ready to fight with them to save the world. There are loads of new areas to explore and still new characters to find. Several times the party has to split which means additional thrill and the opporunity to use more of the many characters you have.
In this game the ArenA became more important for me than in the first two games because I developed a real obsession to win with all my characters, which is not an easy thing to do, but very satisfying every time you get one of the weaker charas through it.
And eventually the final showdown is extremely thrilling, an emotional rollercoaster.
People who have played LFI and LFII will certainly not want to miss this one, and those who haven't yet - go ahead!!! For me these three games are the best RPGs I've ever played!
Summary42 playable characters will make this epic adventure possible, in over 150 quests, all contributing to create an addictive and spectacular RPG experience lasting well over 100 hours of playtime!
