  • Summary: In the year 1930 Japanese scientists discovered an unusual substance which when injected in human body starts to regenerate body cells stopping the process of aging. However, with the first few volunteers it became clear that something has gone wrong: after ten days the rejuvenation was so intense that a body couldn?t take that much of a shock. All of the subjects died of a stroke. In 1936 Japan and Germany sign the Anti-Comitern Pact. Hitler?s leading scientist Josef Mengele negotiated the terms of the cooperation with Japanese concerning the research of the regenerative substance. These negotiations lasted until 1941, when Germans realized that their soldiers aren?t able to bare the cold Russian climate. Japanese, concerned for their interests in Russia, decided to help them unconditionally. In December, 1941 the Institute for Hereditary Biology with its leading scientist dr. Mengele received a mysterious package from Japan. Only the chosen ones knew that it contained all records regarding the creation of the regenerative substance. To get to Germany as soon as possible, pilots of the cargo plane had to fly over the enraging Stalingrad front. [GMX Media] Expand

  1. It is specifically, in my humble opinion, for adventure purists who have patience to sit through bad NPC dialogue because the main character is endearing and in a bit of a jam.
  2. A good, solid, first up Sci-Fi adventure game that shows that Razbor Studios have a lot of potential and I hope that they create more games. I also hope that we may see Ren again in a sequel sometime soon.
  3. Legacy: Dark Shadows isn't a bad game, and there definitely appeared to be a better game lurking somewhere just on the outer boundaries.
  4. Legacy: Dark Shadows just isn’t fun. It tries so hard to mimic great adventure games like that of The Longest Journey but, sadly, only does so graphically which isn’t a good thing.
  5. The content isn't even worth a laugh, and the story is so full of holes (is this based on a Croatian comic or show? It seems to expect you to know the cast in advance) and clichés that it has no value unless you're a die-hard fan of Eastern European culture.
  6. Making matters far, far worse is the game's tendency to randomly crash to the desktop when you enter new areas. If you must play this game (and I emphasize the word "if"), remember to save often. [Apr 2005, p.73]
  7. A truly spectacular failure. Long may it live in infamy. [May 2005, p.105]
