Madden NFL 07 Image
  • Summary: With the exclusive video game license of the NFL and its players, and currently in its 17th installment, Madden NFL 07 puts you in control the running game like never before. For the first time ever, step up as the lead blocker to create a hole, and then take control of the tailback and smash through, overpower, or slash away from would-be tacklers as you fight for every yard. Innovative rushing controls give you a game-breaking ground attack featuring all-new jukes, cutbacks, and the distinct running styles of your favorite backs. [Electronic Arts] Expand

  1. To say that the Lead Blocking Control completely revolutionizes Madden is the understatement of the year.
  2. It isn't revolutionary, but the game still delivers a mean game of football.
  3. This update isn't monumental. It's merely the bacon topping on an already bulging turducken. That's turkey, duck and chicken. [Dec 2006, p.99]

Sick gameplay, deepest franchise mode ever, and great superstar mode that allows you to play in 1st person! I don't like it when you get penalized for the team's fault, but it's got great ideas. Plus John Madden actually has some insightful comments. Superstar mode + vision code + good gameplay and franchise mode = This game's da bomb. So stop hating! Expand

Terrible. EA needs to give up already. Whats the point of buying Madden 07 for pc, when regardless of how powerful your graphics card may be, the game still looks like a PS2 game. If you want to waste your money, go ahead and buy Madden 07 for PC. My advice... save the $50 and instead, save up for a Xbox 360, which is the only system which Madden 07 seems to have been created for. Thanks for the big disappointment EA. Thanks. On Pc we've had the same relic of a graphics engine for like the last 4 Madden's. The consoles got a new engine, but not us. I'll buy next year when they plan to upgrade the PC engine... Which it'll be with the same crap that's on the consoles now. When you think about it, any sports title like football or basketball should be the most phenomenal looking thing ever. This is considering the graphics you post every year are essentially of the same exact type. It's finite. The field is a hundred's yards long. The stadium has x number of seats... Atrocious. Curse EA and there cheapness. Especially considering how many copies they sold in the first week. Im sure it paid for the whole liscensing deal and development right there... Disgusting. Expand
