  1. Mata Hara was a legendary woman – this game is a one-dimensional disappointment. Instead of offering a thrilling story the game is just a line of mediocre dialogues, held together by some stereotypes. The riddles are boring and often only seem to be there to connect some mini games together. That’s not enough.
  2. We expected a first-class product from Barwood / Falstein duo and what did we get? An ordinary adventure with a flat story. The game itself is not that bad but we were hoping for something special. [Issue#174, Jan 2009]
  3. Mata Hari is a great game in the point and click genre. Deep, with a really interesting storyline, minigames and various locations, it offers a new way to understand point and click adventures. Fun and unforgettable, it's recommended to every fan of the genre.
