  1. The system of ducking behind cover and maneuvering to shoot above or around it works perfectly, delivering non-stop action and excitement.
  2. This latest Medal of Honor proves to be the best of the series, and one of the deepest and most challenging World War II shooters I've ever played. [Nov 2007, p.68]
  3. Medal of Honor: Airborne sprinkles minor moments of brilliance though a minefield of questionable game design. Fans of the series will experience some memorable gunfights, but if you're a casual gamer looking for a great World War II title, stick with Call of Duty.

I was wondering whether to give this title a 10. It’s odd to say something is perfect. However, everyone says this is a tired genre and theme, so therefore based on it being by far the most enjoyable and best representation of the hellishness of WWII, it is indeed the perfect example for the WWII genre! No question. The graphics are simply stunning, the shader effects are used to awesome effect, providing sense of speed, danger and of course dramatic lighting effects. Don't believe the screenshots for this game, they do it a large injustice, download the demo and watch it, you will be impressed when you see how well it runs and how improved the visuals are when in motion. Enemies satisfyingly ragdoll appropriate to where they have been shot, even holding the impact or pain point if they can muster whilst dying. The great graphics, engaging sound, physics and environments all come together via an incredible game play engine, which must have been tweak no end to ensure that every single moment is as much fun and full of adrenaline as possible. Forget other FPS games that slowly build up to a big battle, this is non stop from the word go. If you think the demo was busy, just you wait! Amazing. 10/10 Expand

  2. Medal of Honor: Airborne (MOH:A) consists of 6 missions tightly packed with action and some interesting ideas - like you being able to drop with the parachute almost at any position of the map you can reach, checkpoint saving using which you will drop with parachute again but you'll save your progress and realistically behaving weapons and sounds of gunfire. In a way it is kind of a sandbox shooter, where you are allowed to do tasks one at a time and then start doing something else, but in any order you desire. So, you have to destroy Flak Cannons, Enemy tanks and secure the strategic building - you do it your way, paving your path the way you want it. In MOH:A there are about 10 to 15 weapons, including M1926 Thompson, Colt M1911, Kar98k, Gewehr 43, Mauser C712 and several others, which all have 3 levels of upgrades, each unlocking minor upgrade for the weapon. Very nice, exluding the fact, that some of these upgrades break the weapon absolutely! Take G43 - first upgrade is high-capacity mag (20 instead of 10), then its optics and after - GRENADE LAUNCHER... Why would I need my sniper rifle to become a GL? Not only previous two upgrades become useless but the GL itself is much less effective than thrown grenade! Add to this several bugs in which you stuck in interior and exterior and you get somewhat interesting at first, but very buggy game, which will hardly stay on your HDD for long. Expand

Worst WW2 shooter ever! Totally Unrealistic, Arcade and Naff! Silly 'Shiny Buttons' and pathetic unrealistic upgrades...and what on earth is with the 'end of game' Nazi Thug who's impossible to Kill? EA Brought us the fantastic FPS WW2 shooter series of MOHAA.. thanks for that Guys!... But sadly, you have completely lost the plot with this Joke of a game!...You started the Genre, but Ubisoft have totally killed you with their Hells Highway!! Stick to Golf Sims! Expand
