It's looks like fun, and it is at early levels. However it is basically bad after that point. It becomes very much pay to win. Basically the in game mechanic is Micro points that are won by doing decently in matches, however here's a problem... they added this repair feature to the game which pretty much makes it impossible to progress and actually make these points or get better guns unless you spring REAL cash for the advantage of that they provide. Similarly other players basically get guns that DOUBLE your damage as time goes along, more health, ext for playing longer as well. Because of the absence of any form of fair matchmaking feature it basically devolves into 2 things.

players who have been playing LONGER (not better) will always rofl stomp you. players who have pitch real cash will rofl stop you, no matter how horrible they are.

meaning that you will NEVER get ahead unless you give the company money. I would say bluntly that if your the type to spring money on a game, go ahead and play it. But if your looking for a fair, fun experience, look elsewhere. The only GOOD thing I have to say about this game is the art and style are very fun it's sad that they had to ruin it so hard in this fashion as this game has the potential to be great it it treated it's non-paying audiance a tad better.

Nice whacky cartoon idea, beginner is great up to level 8 great fun...butttttttttttttttttttttt (yes theres a but) most of the players past that level have learned a exploit/glitch style of play which means they change weapons so fast they are firing 2-3 weapons at you at once, dunno if a patch is gonna fix it, i doubt it i saw level 50's doing it and they must of been around forever so its been in game for a while and not going anywhere....much like Gunz the Duel its turned into a game of those who glitch play and those who don't, the glitch players basically cheats, wtfpwnbbq everyone else who just plays normal....Sorry Microvolts bigggg thumbs down from me, slow the weapon changing down ALOT and you got yourself an epic little game in my humble opinion, otherwise its just another leet club of glitchers who think they are pro because they basically cheat to win. /Uninstall Expand

When i first saw Microvolts it looked interesting to try. But when i noticed the word 'duration' everything changed. In tf2 you buy and keep the item forever. However in microvolts that's different. To buy the item to be unlimited the cost of micro-points is outrageous! I wish the items were cheaper like for 7 days its like '1,950' that would be fine if it was unlimited. The number of weapons loadouts can be a pain, if it was like 3 or 4 or 5 just like tf2. Id play it more if this would happen. One more if it was first person then that would be great. Expand

MicroVolts is a third person shooter that looks trivial and a bit derivative, especially in front of Valve's Team Fortress 2, that cannot compete with a free-to-play market full of new and much interesting alternatives.
