MicroVolts is a third person shooter that looks trivial and a bit derivative, especially in front of Valve's Team Fortress 2, that cannot compete with a free-to-play market full of new and much interesting alternatives.
Ótimo jogo, comecei a jogá-lo em 2012 e nunca mais parei. Já foi melhor, com o tempo foi 'piorando', jogo até hoje e espero que melhore com o tempo. Simplesmente o jogo da minha vida.
This is easily the best game I've ever played and it's just so interesting compared to other first person shooters. If you have never played the game before, I HIGHLY recommend it. The higher the level you reach, the better the items you will get. Just like in other games.
I've been playing Microvolts for 3 years. It the best I've played. I recommend everyone play it, doesn't matter how old you are, but play it. - X_Johni_X
Cute. That's what it is. Manly. That's also what it is. It's great for all ages of gamers. Little kids can play, and us older guys don't have to hear them over the Mics ;) Older guys can attempt to quick scope and shoot bazookas and demolish other toy figures. There's a training mode that's fun to try to get to the final wave and there's a ranking system that allows for an addictive multiplayer mode. As of 2012, it has more than enough servers to keep a person busy. It also has smooth graphics that run on most PCs (including my lower-end laptop) so people of all PCs can play! It's really easy to get used to and there are a lot of game modes to keep you busy. It's lacking in variety, I suppose, but that's why it's a free game. For a free game, it's fun, and that's all that matters, lol. Go ahead and download it and try it out. I won't be playing it addictively, but it will be a fun alternative to the intense CoD that I usually play :D
Spent more than 1000 hours IN GAME ACTUALLY PLAYING, but still I can't recommend this.
(+) :
Fun gameplay
Many different game mods and maps
Many different guns and parts for your character
Many updates
(-) :
Worst community ever seen ( toxic, stupid, unfriendly, hard to find any good friends.. )
Laggy servers ( they even shut down lost of servers )
Bad anti-cheat programm ( just after patches you can barely see any hackers around.. but it'll take only one day till their cheat programm is updated )
Heavily based on Pay-2-Win
Producers don't listen to their community
Event-Updates come rarely ( It's still Christmas there ( 04.04.2016 today ) )
Updates are mostly just more weapons or parts for people with RT ( Rocket Tokens, the buy-able currency)
Scammers everywhere..
Very unstable ( it just crashes if you click your mouse during a loading screen.. also often just for no reason. )
I actually loved playing this game.. I sometimes still play it, but it's not the same as it was before. We just call it the "Surge-Update".
I didn't start playing this during the Beta, but I played it when it was known to be good.
More than 500 Euros have I spent already for in-game currency... I regret this everyday.
Nice whacky cartoon idea, beginner is great up to level 8 great fun...butttttttttttttttttttttt (yes theres a but) most of the players past that level have learned a exploit/glitch style of play which means they change weapons so fast they are firing 2-3 weapons at you at once, dunno if a patch is gonna fix it, i doubt it i saw level 50's doing it and they must of been around forever so its been in game for a while and not going anywhere....much like Gunz the Duel its turned into a game of those who glitch play and those who don't, the glitch players basically cheats, wtfpwnbbq everyone else who just plays normal....Sorry Microvolts bigggg thumbs down from me, slow the weapon changing down ALOT and you got yourself an epic little game in my humble opinion, otherwise its just another leet club of glitchers who think they are pro because they basically cheat to win. /Uninstall
When i first saw Microvolts it looked interesting to try. But when i noticed the word 'duration' everything changed. In tf2 you buy and keep the item forever. However in microvolts that's different. To buy the item to be unlimited the cost of micro-points is outrageous! I wish the items were cheaper like for 7 days its like '1,950' that would be fine if it was unlimited. The number of weapons loadouts can be a pain, if it was like 3 or 4 or 5 just like tf2. Id play it more if this would happen. One more if it was first person then that would be great.
SummaryMicroVolts places the gamer in a toy playground and pits players against each other in the roles of action figures in a war that's been waged in our own homes unnoticed. How did the war start? Who made them? It's time to take up arms and fight for valuable battery resources and supremacy of the Micro World.
