  1. The whole system works pretty well and thanks to the vehicles, the awesome physics engine, and the variety of modes and missions, Mobile Forces can keep you hooked for some time.
  2. The vehicles work well, they're fun to drive, and they end up overshadowing the game's weapon-balancing issues.
  3. Mobile forces is vanilla near-future sci-fi, and this non-descript, and non-story sensibility hurts the game a bit. [Nov 2002, p.83]

A decent, if frustrating, incomplete, and lacking title.
  5. There are plenty of great, free mods out there. Paying money for a sub-par mod like Mobile Forces isn't fair.
  6. A lifeless single-player game and a decidedly bumpy online experience. [Oct 2002, p.96]
  7. Gets many things right - gameplay, map design, game modes like trailer, and the physics really do make for a promising experience, but the complete lack of a community (in Europe), the poor netcode and the ho-hum single-player bot AI make for a decent effort that'll, at the moment, just gather dust on your shelf.
  8. I was utterly disappointed. The game looks great on paper, but was created with mediocrity in mind.

Great game in my opinion, half way decent bots, great for LAN partys grafics are somewhat dated now that we have games like farcry and doom3 but still loads of fun, this one is staying on my HD. Full Review »
