Even two years after its original release, Mortal Kombat remains one of the best fighting games ever made.

The Komplete Edition shines on PC other than Story mode cutscene quality and, more importantly, some annoying online lag issues. Neither is a deal-breaker for me though, and at $30, I have no problem recommending it for purchase.

For $29.99, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is great value for the high-calibre fighting game that Netherrealm Studios (and High Voltage Software) has put together. Highly rekommended!

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is a decent port of a frantic, compelling beat'em-up, packed with plenty of game modes.

Patience is the best remedy, and Scorpion still enjoys getting people out of their skins. In other words, everything is the same, and even for PCs, Mortal Kombat is still the kick-ass fighting game. [Issue#233]

A solid fighting game mired in its own questionable presentation. Superseded since its console launch.

The return of Ed Boon's Kombat world is relentlessly amazing and super gory in the best of ways possible. The fighting is fantastic and the story and characters are amazingly engaging and perfectly detailed. 2 by 2 kombat is awesome and X-rays and deadly thrilling. This is a fighting game like no other offering an MK unlike any other. It's king of the fighting genre (At least in my taste) Expand

It warms my heart to see this series shining again. Everything you could possibly want in a Mortal Kombat game is here, and the attention to detail is insane. Great animations, victory poses and finishing moves, combos flow and link seamlessly, great level design, and surprisingly, an engaging story in campaign mode. A PC port that is worth every penny. I opened the game as an administrator, and was astonished at the neat graphics and 60 fps of the menu screen, little did I know, it was one of THOSE games, where you need a PC the size of a baby horse to run this game at 60 fps. Nevertheless I thought, maybe i could lower the resolution, keep the high quality and play in windowed mode, since I don't mind it. I realized windowed mode was impossible, and that it was even an issue on the original steam game. Other than that, the game felt great, looked like a dog turd on my screen, but still somehow felt good. The fatalities are awesome, and i even managed to play local two player matches. Well done Warner Bros. Expand

MK3 was really, really bad. it looked rushed-to-arcade work, floating limps and uninspired and boring fatalities, thus ending my passion towards Mortal Kombat:(. oh, sure there was MK games after that, but the damage was done. fast-forward to today MK 2011 was released to PC and on special on steam, so i got it and it looked AWESOME! the story, the fighting mechanics, the unlockables, online play, the fatalities. All outstanding. I am once again after a 18 year absence. a mortal kombat fan:) Expand

Mortal Komat is sure a good fighter but it has some HUGE mistakes.I will go with the pros and cons way:
    Pros:
    Good fighting
    Amazing characters
    Good Female/male models
    Good voice acting
    Nice PvP
    Test your Luck
    Test your might
    Test your strike
    Epic X-ray
    Brutal Fatalities
As a komplete edition it has all dlcs so that means no in game transactions

    Cons:
No Single Fight(but how did they missed that)
1 v 2 fights that is the way it sounds:You fight against 2 characters at time and are like 4 rounds instead of 2 but restores your health after 2 rounds
Story mode is a bit of a kolected films and putted together
No voice acting in challenge mode(ok i understand no voice acting on kustom script but challenge mode fills like and 1970 game)
I'm a bit(just a little but like 1/1000) confused why females are so sexy.I mean i wanna fight no to strafe at the character's breasts.(and WTF was wrong with ed boon when he was making mileena's fatality:its focused at her not at the crying enemy[btw i like it]

At the end of the day there isn't a perfect game but they are still enjoyable such as Mortal Kombat

It's clear that the fighter get's disabled for couple of seconds and they don't do anything. When I tried to kick shao khan's ass with cyrax he couldn't reach him even if he was right in front of him and Shao Khan was able to do all of his combos faster than usual. This is a cheating game. And it doesn't function properly! Expand
