MotoGP 14 represent one of the best works made by Milestone and an evolution compared to the previous iteration: graphics, simulation, game modes and content are undoubtedly improved, although there is still some technical lacking.

If your primary attraction to racing games is the visual thrill and stylish presentation, you'll be best served elsewhere. Fortunately, as a racing experience MotoGP is up there with the best.

It doesn't embrace new-gen the way you'd hope, but remains an involving and content-rich sim. [Sept 2014, p.70]
  4. MotoGP 14 is a very good racing game.

Under a less than exciting package, is hidden a fine motor biking game with tons of options and game modes. If Milestone will improve the graphics and physics engines for the 2015 version, we are in for something big.

ctually I rate it a .. stunning 7!!! .. and that only because I cheated to unlock all the crap.. with every bike unlocked it changed from a 2 to a 7.. as the WORST thing I know is unlocking stuff in sims (you hear me 1C and 777.. I hate it!) even if MotoGP 14 is a sim 'light', it'a a bit more realistic then MotoGP 13.
Sure Milestone are relly slow and totally incompetent! And I will with most certainty never buy another game/sim from them.. but come on! We still have to setup out controller each time we start it, that should've been a 1 day job at launch!!
Upped it to a 7, since there is an (unofficial) temporarilly fix for keeping controller settings between games!

Every review you have read about MotoGP14 so far is correct. Below expectation with this game. MotoGP13 had its bugs and you would have thought Milestone would have corrected the bugs when they made 14, not so. They have created even more bugs in this game and the game even worse than 13. Milestone needs to stop trying to re-invent this game and just fix the current bugs in the game. Eventually what is see in the future is that Milestone will cancel production of this game due to lack of revenue because people are tired of wasting money on faulty product. In the end, we will be left with no motorcycle racing games. I say bring back BlackBean. Expand

I am unable to play MotoGP 14 PC game on my Laptop Dell Inspiron 15 3537 (6GB i5 4th Gen, 2Gb AMD Radeon Video Windows 8.1). The specs of the Laptop are well above the Minimum Specs required for the game. I have an updated AMD Radeon 8670 Graphics driver, updated BIOS. Still the game hangs after naviganting he first few screens without starting the race, and makes a creeking sound with some hot air from the fan. Is it due to Laptop or due to the game itself? Any help or pointers would be a big help! Thanks in advance. Expand

This game has serious issues. The graphics are jumpy and you cannot do anything about it no matter what you set the video options to. The sound is ridiculous. Sounds like lawnmowers instead of bikes. I'd be willing to overlook that if the game was actually playable, but it isn't. Also, if you enter the career mode, you cannot exit the game unless you ctl+alt+delete and use your task manager to close it. This game was clearly shipped incomplete and they obviously pay no attention to beta testers. There is absolutely no way they could have missed some of these bugs. Unless Milestone does something about it, it will be my last purchase from them, and unless you see a notice saying they have patched these issues, you should wait. It's pretty sad. Expand
