Aside from some spotty keyboard control implementation and limited online play, there’s little not to like here. Mount Your Friends is a wonderfully weird game best experienced with buddies.

Mount Your Friends is good only if you want to shock and stupefy your guests at a party. This game is fun for the first 15 minutes. After that, don’t even try to look for variety here. Even if it were a free Flash game, it would have been crushed by more creative (Climb), witty (Double Hitler) and absurd (Realistic Summer Sports Simulator) brethren.

The sound effects, movements, and watching opponents clumsily fumble through a level is some of the funniest moments in gaming I have experienced. I bought it thinking I would get a couple hours of entertainment out of it and now I cannot stop playing. The online features are lacking a bit (chat, matchmaking, etc) but its all still functional. Great game Expand

I have to say that it's not terrible, but it'll definitely over-stay it's welcome very quickly. The idea is that each round each player is given a character, they have to race against the clock to achieve higher vertical elevation than the previous player's character. You're given asinine controls to make it funnier/more difficult, and you must QWOP your way to the tower of dudes, climb up them, and get higher than any previous player has gotten. Whoever can't accomplish higher vertical height looses. It's a pretty simple concept with no variations which is why it gets boring fast, but it is a good amount of fun and a good few laughs if you play with some friends. Is it worth the money? Personally I'm not sure if I'd recommend it. As an Xbox Live Indie Game it was $0.99, so it was worth a good few laughs from time to time. But the Steam version is $4.99, so I'm on the edge about if it's worth the money or not. Maybe if it's on sale, around $2.49, or if you're really curious, then it may be worth it. As a game though, it sits comfortably below average. Expand
