Plants vs Zombies is what casual gaming is really all about; it's intuitive, easy to start and stop at any time, and has a tremendous variety of gameplay modes.
  2. The most outstanding feature of this incredibly fun title is its personality. Every inch of Plants vs. Zombies is jam-packed with humor and attention to detail, and I never once stopped enjoying its clever take on the genre even after I had exhausted everything it had to offer. Do not miss this game -- titles this good don't come around often.
  3. This game masters all aspects of a good tower defense game and comes along with a lot levels and many items to unlock. Recommendation alert.

It's a fun game, does what it's ment to do, and does it well. It has personality and it has style. I loved the zombie bowling minigame, as well as the the overall art direction. It's definitly worth the $10 on steam, and with the amout of actual content is worth the $20 if you want a boxed copy. Expand

It WOULD be a fantastic game if it had difficulty settings. As is, it's completely unchallenging to anyone over about 12. Even though they give you new plants, you can use the same old ones to easily win screen after screen. It only gets interesting when they change the environments and force you to develop a new strategy. But once you figure that one out in the first screen, it's rinse and repeat for the screens following. I really wanted to love this game, it's got fantastic style; but I just keep seeing how cool it should have been if they'd just let you choose a higher difficulty. Buy it for your kids, but don't confuse this with something that'll hold the interest of an adult gamer. Expand

Simple gameplay and very unappealing graphics. I got bored quick.
