  1. The puzzles are harder without hints causing game players to say Duh for much longer. I loved the plot and I love Sam & Max.
  2. Ice Station Santa is definitely one of the longer episodes of the batch, and it may easily become a fast favorite. Still, even with the hints turned completely off it will only take you a handful of hours to plow through this gem.
  3. You would be crazy not to at least give this a try.

Sam & Max's design crew runs a well-oiled humor machine, and Ice Station Santa flaunts everything from suicidal alley rats to demented gift exchanges to a trio of time-displaced Christmas spirits who turn the expected feel-good story cliché on its head.
  5. Despite Telltale’s reluctance to evolve Sam & Max further, this opening to Season 2 is still one of the best point-and-click games of the year and remains the benchmark by which all other episodic adventures will be judged. [Chrismas 2007, p.133]
  6. Some say the Point-and-click adventure is dead, but with a combination of fun gameplay and humorous send ups, Sam & Max 201 proves that good things come in small packages. [Jan 2008, p.62]
  7. Wacky before funny, showing no signs of progress. [Jan 2008, p.81]

Great deal on Steam for £10 for the complete series.Great fun and a bargain for a funny and entertaining adventure, with pleasing characters and plot. You can spend an afternoon enjoying each episode as you please for the few hours each one lasts, which is just about right,as there are 16 episodes, which adds up to a satisfying and lengthy experience overall.Ice Station Santa has a great little setting, and is fun to play. You have to listen to the dialogs and scratch you head for a moment a few times, but its ultimately quite hilarious.Well done 9/10 for this episode, and a lengthy one at that.
