  1. Addictive as a single-player experience and flat-out irresistible while playing in an online league, it shouldn't be missed.
  2. For those that love the game, enjoy the behind-the-scenes management, embrace the mental challenge, like the statistical bombardment, and thrive on situational strategy, this is the game for you.
  3. Now, some folks may be happy to rule over a leauge of made-up players, but it drives me insane. [July 2002, p.69]
  4. I enjoyed the playing but thought that it might get very boring to play this game multiple times unless you are the most die hard of baseball simulation fans.
  5. There are a number of issues that make the game more difficult to play than it should be including an unfriendly interface and lack of instruction book that at least shows the game's capabilities.

I love this game, although you can get overwelmed with the details needed to run the game.

I gave it a five simply because I absolutely love the fact that this game gives you the opportunities to run a ball club because no other game has ever done that. However, on the opposing side I dislike how I can not familiarize myself with any of the players or even the teams for that matter. The ballparks and the hats aren't even the same!!! Full Review »
