By any measure, it has solid racing mechanics. But then, variety is the spice of life and this title could use a bit more.

It's an agreeably straightforward 2D arcade game in shiny 3D disguise, experimenting with extraneous limbs while it tries to establish exactly what it should evolve into. [Dec 2007, p.86]

Sega Rally Revo kicks up some of the best mud in the genre. [Jan 2008, p.74]
  6. The racing is balanced and never dull, and the only downside is that the fun is over far too soon.
  7. SEGA Rally Revo is a fun arcade racer, but those expecting something with the depth of DiRT will be disappointed.

Good solid arcade fun. Great graphics, great gameplay. It isn't a simulation, and Sega Rally has never pretended to be one. Far too many Good solid arcade fun. Great graphics, great gameplay. It isn't a simulation, and Sega Rally has never pretended to be one. Far too many simulation games out there. Thats fine for the geeks who love to play with stats all day, but for people like me who just want to pick and play this is fantastic. Full Review »
