Lupin, a character invented by renowned French writer Mauricice Leblanc, has thrilled millions of readers worldwide with his exploits, and proves a perfect foil for Sherlock Holnmes. This new Sherlock Holmes game sends players to 19th Century London where Arsène Lupin, a young French burglar with an impressive track record, has just challenged Scotland Yard and the most famous of detectives - Sherlock Holmes. Lupin has announced that he plans to rob the capital of five objects of immense value over the course of five days. The objects are housed in highly prestigious locations such as the National Gallery, the British Museum, the Tower of London and even Buckingham Palace! Sherlock Holmes will have to muster all his courage and ingenuity to save England from terrible humiliation. The game invites you to visit 19th century London in all its splendor and to travel through superb decors which have been faithfully reproduced with the game's 3D engine.     Most importantly, though, is that the game is fun. It keeps you thinking, throws you a good number of curves, and for the most part is challenging but fair.

    Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis has its share of faults, but overall it’s a solid game in the adventure genre. The characters and setting are very believable, the story of the hunt for Lupin is compelling, and the puzzles are challenging.

    An excellent game, though there might be some improvements. For example, the detail of the game isn't that good for the 20th century and the people in the game could be more realistic. But a good game.… Expand

    Simply put, it's often frustrating when puzzles need be solved in the exact sequence as intended by the developers. The game was not that interesting to keep me going. Even the available forums were often of little help albeit well intentioned.… Expand

    Big Sherlock Fan, this wrecks it for me, something about the amount of glitches I had, and the texture problems, and the whole point to walk idea! Should make a Third-Person game of Sherlock, I would be happy to play $30 for it...Just not this game. Glad I bought it on sale...… Expand
