  1. It won’t keep mature gamers’ attention for very long, but kids will love it.
  2. I enjoyed playing Shrek the Third because it is a fun, uncomplicated title that is accessible to action fans of all ages. It's a linear adventure, though, so don't expect a whole lot of replay value.
  3. Shrek the Third doesn’t take a lot of chances with its license or gameplay. It is essentially a beat-em-up platformer that provides an extension of the movie with a very light amount of challenge.
  4. Feels rushed and unrefined - certainly not enough to make a memorable impact on the gaming scene.

The game captures the feel of the franchise, but seriously lacks any sort of depth or attention to detail, as the game is ridden with buggy areas, odd animation glitches, and an entirely linear design.
  6. There are several attempts at greatness, like the mini-games that can be enjoyed with your friends. Yet, the mini-games are more of a distraction than anything else.
  7. Awkward, clumsy, and unpolished. [Sept 2007, p.85]

This is the game of a generation. The amazing AAA graphics, absolutely pristine sound quality, and wonderful storyline, it makes for one of the best games I've ever played. Expand
