  • Summary: WW II was a theatre of war for many specialized combat units, working together to ensure an army’s victory. Among them a unique role was played by hidden and deadly marksmen. Their ability to lay motionless waiting for the perfect shot together with their professional equipment allowed them to change the course of the history with one pull of a trigger. Become a sharpshooter and take part in the turning points of the WW II. Eliminate the Nazi general, who came to support the Germans lying siege to Stalingrad. Make your way through areas occupied by the Third Reich to your unit. Aid the Alliance forces during their offensive on the Italian Peninsula to break the resistance of the retreating Wehrmacht forces. [City Interactive] Expand

  1. For a fiver, it's not too bad - a little different, at least. But that's all. [Sept 2008, p.116]
  2. Sniper: Art of Victory is a budget title and as such can be excused for some superficial failings. Unfortunately, some of its failings are more than superficial take much of the fun out of the game.
  3. While Sniper: Art of Victory is superior to its brother in arms, and the sniping mechanic itself is reasonably well implemented, there are still too many flaws here to recommend it.
  4. 30
When the essential gameplay mechanic is this flawed and there's nothing else to save it, there's simply no reason to play it.
  5. This leads me onto the AI, of which I'm not sure there actually is any.
  6. Unique compilation of short dull and stupid missions filled with bugs presented in shameful graphics and abominable sounds. Sniper: Art of Victory fully deserves its place at the bottom of a muggy bucket of budget production. [Sept 2008]

I found Sniper Art Of Victory Quite immersive. I have played games for 23 years. I was happy that it was not a run and gun game like COD - kill 500 people in one level. It reminded me of Sniper Ghost Warrior, in a different setting, gameplay was made different also. I am always looking for a good sniper game. DO NOT take the bad reviews for this game as definite. Everyone has opinion and there isn't many immersive sniper games out there. Expand

Čudna igra gdje se sve mora sa snajperom riješiti, stara grafika, pomalo i zamorno, a korištenje pištolja je posve neučinkovito, a još kad protivnici počnu rafalat Expand

In this game, the concept of sniping is like hitting the crotch with stock of a sniper rifle for entire hour. Additionally, the developers thought the good idea is to use recycling method (read: changing colours of existing textures). I am only glad that City Interactive finally understood how many crappy games they made and gave us something as decent as Sniper: Ghost Warrior. Expand
