    Unless you've got friends willing to pass as potential victims, it's about a day's worth of cheap thrills. But those seeking a suitable multiplayer scrap should find themselves in good shape with this one.

    The PC version is clearly the best, because it not only looks superior, it supports up to 32 players in a single battle.

    Animation is fluid and the games frame rate manages to stay consistent no matter how frantic action become.

    This game is good but not great. The game needed about another 3 to 6 months of development time to get some of the bugs worked out (specifically the AI and the weapons loadouts), but I have a feeling the pressure was on since they timed the game's release with the release of the original trilogy's DVD iteration.

    Everything That Made the Battlefield series a hit, but in the star wars universe! How Cool is that? Awesome game and lots of action duplicating every battle in Star wars. If there is any negative it would be that this game's gameplay is exactly like BF1942 and Vietnam... But if it aint Broke...… Expand

    when it comes to star wars games it normally comes down to either becoming a Jedi who is virtually indestructible or a fighter pilot. this game takes a different and welcome approach to star wars playing through the eyes of a simple soldier, nothing more than a unit in the massive armies of whichever side you choose. the game plays beautifully with varied classes that affect the battles in different ways as you take command posts over the map and thin out the other sides soldiers. although there are occasions when the game feels simple and easy, overall the game plays well and is a gem not only in the franchise of star wars gaming but a gem in the whole genre of TPS. a game that I would gladly recommend hardcore and casual gamers alike.… Expand

    Star Wars Battlefront is an enjoyable shooter set in the Star Wars Universe. The shooting element is so much fun and driving the speeder bikes is just too darn fun, especially at the Dune Sea. It is a pretty fun game that I recommend checking out.… Expand

    SW Battlefront is more of the same that Battlefield 1942 and BF Vietnam already have given us. Would be better with a lower price tag, but at $60 or so, it's just not worth it. I went through the single player campaign in about an hour and a half. While it does have a lot of new elements, like good vehicles and jet pack units, it's just another baby step forward in this genre.… Expand
