More than just a Soulslike with a protagonist to serve as eye-candy, Stellar Blade has far surpassed our expectations, offering varied gameplay, outstanding visuals, a sublime soundtrack and an engaging story. It's a must-play for action game fans.
With excellent combat mechanics and gorgeous graphics, I was thoroughly impressed with everything this game had to offer. Some of the fights were a real challenge and an absolute joy to get through. It took me about 35 hours for my first playthrough I still haven't put the game down. I would recommend checking this game out!
Stellar Blade bursts out of the gate looking stunning, full of jaw-dropping set pieces, intense action and gory violence, and maintains that pace throughout. Underneath this flashy action game are a lot of systems that we’ve seen before, but despite what can feel like a lack of innovation at times, it never feels stale or unenticing due to its overwhelming sense of style and polished, gratifying combat. For every familiar puzzle or annoying platforming section, there’s a brutal boss battle or incredible over-the-top sequence that pulled me back in. Stellar Blade is a joy, a deliciously crafted adventure jam-packed with dramatic thrills.
All in all, if you love action games, I think you’ll have a great time with Stellar Blade. You might find yourself zoning out during the cut scenes, but you’ll enjoy being in the zone during that flowing combat fun.
Stellar Blade is shallow in terms of narrative and has a problematic protagonist, but it has great graphics, soundtrack and action gameplay. The package delivers less than promised, but it is possible to have fun with the game.
Had Eve been a character with agency and personality, who actually responded to the drooling and leering that she’s meant to embody, well, she’d be Bayonetta.
Stellar Blade is great in everything it does. The combat is it's biggest strength, it's technical, deep and challenging but still very fun, especially against bosses. (Just do your favorite combo on small mobs). The story the OST and the graphics are very good and more than enough for an action/combat oriented game.
One of the best games i have played it shows you how a game can really be fun without being tied to a certain political agenda the combat is tight the exploration is wonderful the enemy design is unmatched the music is hypnotizing and reassuring and the NG+ and replayability are commendable however you won't see this game in this year GOTY awards nor it will recive any award, why? Because no **** representation and the protagonist is fit and beautiful and we can't have that. we need to emulate reality in this game and must have everyone fat and ****
