I was skeptical at first being a retro shooter in all. To my surprise this game is one of the best games to come out. I couldn't get enough because it's so different. It's like metal slug meets Zelda majoras mask. It's not just shooting through the game but you have to think of the best scenario to **** level in the allowed time traveling through time lol. Epic not to mention the amount of unlockable characters. After you finish the game guarantee you will go back to beat it 100%
This game is awesome, full of action and funny moment, a good arcade game for the xbox one! Nice easter egg to. Love the oldschool game, remind me the time when resolution and fps was not that important, Good old time :(
Sometimes this sidescrolling time manipulating action with its charming pixel look is extremely hectic. But all frustration aside the intelligent design keeps you coming back.
Super Time Force is a game that you should definitely add to your collection, especially if you bought an Xbox One at launch and you are now hungry of good games to play.
Super Time Force hands you a super weapon that feels super – one that gives you the impression you’ve hacked into the game’s code to gain the upper hand – and then dares you to try to break the game with it. That it never buckles, despite allowing you to continually rewrite history as a horde of player characters and hundreds of projectiles fill the screen, is nothing short of remarkable.
In all Super Time Force, is a humorous romp through the ages, but the core rewinding mechanic that makes it different fosters a love-hate relationship. It's both an asset and an obstacle, but with tons of characters and a quirky storyline, you’ll find the space and time to enjoy yourself.
Capybara has designed a devastatingly complex game that manages to feel wholly intuitive and approachable in practice; I just wish it explored more of its potential. If ever a game begged for a sequel to fully realize a great concept, Super T.I.M.E. Force is it.
This game is quite honestly the most fun I've had in ages. The game is hilarious, and puts a casual and nonchalant spin on the flow of time, and executes the concept perfectly. It is so refreshing that Capy Games have delivered us a unique side-scrolling run-and-gun game, which truly requires you to think through what you are doing. Singleplayer co-op (sounds crazy right?) turns this game into a complex tactical puzzle game as well!
As an example, imagine running through a level, dying (a lot), deciding where to position yourself in relation to your last life, then trying to save the previous iteration of yourself, creating a paradox where your last character lives, and then harvest him to level you up. Or sprinting though a level, rewinding, dying, rewinding, dying, until you have a whole army of yourself taking down wacky boss fights.
The pixel art looks fabulous, and is one of the main reasons the game feels so natural, along with the fast-but-pleasant music. This game is not serious, but it's an absolute laugh, and It is definitely worth the money!
10/10 gameplay.
9/10 length.
10/10 replayability.
9/10 visuals.
This game is not for everyone, that's for sure. It quickly looks loke something that was seen already on the '90's. But, the true genius lies behind the oversized pixels. Time-traveling idea is simply great and chaotic action makes you understand why graphics are what they are. If you want to use your brains, this game is for you. Why only 7 then - game is short, graphics are horrible whatsoever and genre dated.
Quite a fun game. Needed more levels. Manipulation of time is implemented very well and is what makes this game above average. Average visuals. Definitely worth playing through once
Was fun to start off and I really liked the "plot" considering it was intended to be silly! But as it went on it became a very enfuriating game (Borderline Mega Man) and I just got fed up with it. It's ok if you enjoy a quick laugh or aren't quick to a temper. (Think of Flappy Bird lol) 5/10
SummarySuper Time Force is a frantic, hyper-action videogame filled with total mayhem, total madness and total non-stop shooty-shooty-bam-bam destruction. And yet, it also has super sweet, soothing, perhaps even sublime, moments of sloooow motion. Every level in Super Time Force contains 3 mysterious inter-dimensional objects called Shards, whi...
