  1. Simply put, SWAT 4 is just about the best tactical shooter available. Its outstandingly realistic and gripping play delivers everything a tac-sim fan craves. Now, if you'll excuse me, there are more perps in need of cuffing.
  2. SWAT 4 is no "System Shock 2" – it's not going to break any boundaries. However, in a world where professional finish and attention to detail is increasingly rare, its focus on filling a job role rather than filling terrorists with holes is refreshing and admirable, and is definitely worthy of investigation from anyone capable of exercising the restraint required to fully appreciate what this game is about.
  3. The extreme volatility of every moment carries a reward that overshadows the annoyances. [June 2005, p.85]

  2. Every suspects or hostages are Mr Bruce Lee, SWAT officers must not treat those bare handed peoples (Bruce Lee guys) with rubber shots before handcuffing them. The SWAT officers should hand over their guns to those Bruce Lee guys so they can finished the mission themselves, because all the officers are disqualified, so disqualified that it takes a shot at the hostages' leg to make them compromise/surrender. But the officers in this game are better than the cops that shot an unarmed man dead because he took off running in a sub-way in a real life event. Another down thing is that the officers in this game can't pick up any dropped guns and use them, so when you ran out of ammos you ran of ammos! Anyone can edit the game script and modify the taser gun so it can have a touch light attached to it, shooting at a farther distance with faster projectile speed. If you aimed the taser at a **** crotch and shoot it, you can see the **** is shaking up like she's having an orgasm! Best of all the game rules can be changed by editing more game scripts. Expand

  3. You can’t lean left/right if you are standing on the middle of the steps. It takes two shots in the chest to kill a hostage who not even wearing a necklace, I mean does all of them wears bullet-proof vests?! It takes even more shots to kill a terrorist! No knive or using your fists, simply no melee attacks. You can’t move/strafe as you’re leaning to one side, you’d be lucky that you could fire your guns while you’re leaning. It’s a joke that the door-lock-shotgun failed to hurt even a cat, it’s shots are vulnerable at human bodies. The door-lock-shotgun is used to shoot at the door lock to get the door opened ... also "knock knock anybody home?!!" Expand
