Syndicate Wars continues where its predecessor left off and is set in a dystopian, cyberpunk future where the world is run by a megacorporation known as Eurocorp. Eurocorp controls its populace through the use of mind control chips except at the beginning of the game, it's apparent that something is wrong as reports of malfunctions start to escalate. Apparently there is a rebel organisation known as the Church of the New Epoch who wishes to usurp power from Eurocorp by freeing its citizens from this mind control. The game allows you to play as either the Church or Eurocorp which definitely increases the replay value and the game definitely has that cool, cyberpunk vibe to it with respect to the architecture, sounds and music. The graphics look a bit dated nowadays (primitive 3D) but was good for its time. Full Review »

A fantastic Real-time tactical game with a decent Co-Op mode made this a real gem to own. The games graphic and soundtrack oozed cyberpunk too the point where you could taste the Megacorp, gloom, the acid rain and the dystopia With two very good campaigns playing either the EuroCorp or the Church of the New Epoch and the flexibility to complete mission in a variety of ways makes Syndicate Wars a worthy buy over at for all those RTS retro gamers Full Review »
