Warp is a unique example of a stealth-based arcade game.

Warp implements fun new mechanics that haven't been fully embraced in a genre that just doesn't see much innovation. It's a brief, well-paced adventure that makes you actively use your brain along the way.

At $10 for a six-hour campaign, this is a great buy.

Endearingly cheery, but slightly shallow stealth-action dosed up with black humour, and a few fresh gimmicks. [June 2012, p.88]

A little more intelligent AI would have made the stealth and evasion exciting passages, taking somewhat more precise control of some frustrating moments. However, Warp is a nice game, everyone should try this one, especially since it only costs ten euros.

It can be frustrating but still is worth a try if you like stealth/action games that challenge your mind, because it offers a decently long campaign for a low price. [May 2012, p.71]

Warp is an entertaining top-down puzzler that's hobbled by a bumpy transition from console to PC.

The title from Electronic Arts and Trapdoor succeeds perfectly in order to offer an extremely varied and entertaining gameplay that provides both ease of learning the basic mechanics of a proper level of challenge that comes from the diverse variety of approaches to each situation game. Expand

I loved this game. Cute characters, simple but challenging, funny, good gameplay, clever mechanics. We're in Portal territory here. Only complaint was it was too short! Expand

First off, YES it is a console port and very much so. I recommend using a controller to play this game, but the game doesn't deserve a low rating simply because it's not designed for a keyboard/mouse interface. This game is amazingly fun. I like challenge in my games, something most new titles don't deliver. This game is difficult in places, with upgrade options and play styles that give it an rpg feel. The only reason I didn't give it a 10/10 is because I felt they could have done so much more with the upgrades and environment, including alternate endings based on whether you play stealthily or forcefully. Warp is a great game if you like the combo of cute but deadly, you play as an alien who was captured by scientists who want to find out what makes you tick, you soon escape and find that you are not the only one, it is a pretty gory game, but an excellent one. It has a lot of challenges and pure genius moments that will make you smile when you complete them, very fun to play and easy to get into. My only complaint is the length of main story, but it does have challenge rooms that should keep you busy. Expand

It is a pretty good game. The graphics are better than most of the arcade games, and the atmosphere is very well created. Although it is the PC version, I use a XBOX360 controller to play it, and I don't know what it feels like to play it with keyboard, so the control for me is fine. The porting is overall ok, but they should do a better job on this because it doesn't run very smoothly on my poor laptop with GT540M with 1280*720. Expand

Yes, it is a bad console port (problem with controls, mediocre graphic and no settings), but still worth playing cause gameplay is pretty decent. Especially if you have gamepad. Expand

you can refer to XBOX/PS3 version for review of the game's gameplay. BUT think THRICE before trying this on PC. 1) about the keybinds - they are fixed and there is no way to rebind them; if you go to OPTION>CONTROL, you are shown the keybinds of a XBOX controller... and there is not a list of keybinds for PC. and the keybinds themselves are awkward for PC gamers who are used to WASD for movements (it's the arrow keys in Warp...). 2) frequent random freezes for 1-2 seconds and application crashes. 3) game requires split-second reflex commands, but the character does not always carry out the commands accurately Expand
