Without doubt, it is a very cute story.
Sprites, CG, background art, H-scenes -- it's all of a high quality.
But the writing is very run of the mill, never trying to do better than your average visual novel with sexual content, sacrificing text quality to the mediums sentence by sentence norm.
What remains is a cute and still fun average vn worth 8/10 only due to art direction.
Wolf Tails has a cute story that borders on cringy sometimes. More so when dealing with when the wolf girls deal with human devices they have never encountered. Overall the story and characters are solid though and worth playing through, although it does feel a bit rushed near the end. The background art is really good and the art for the people is fairly good as well. The music is decent but during those mentioned segments of the wolf girls being shocked by human devices it was an annoying nuisance. I really liked the choice of colours for the text and the background as it went well together. There were a decent amount of choices throughout .
I played Wolf Tails on Linux. It never crashed on me and I didn’t see any spelling errors or bugs. You can manually save whenever you want and there are 48 save slots. Alt-Tab works.

If you enjoy the previous work of Razzart Visual then you will probably enjoy Wolf Tails. I would rank it under Starlight Vega and Love Ribbon but that doesn’t mean it is a bad game at all. I paid $12.52 CAD for it and finished my first play through in 1 hour and 45 minutes which felt like fair value.

SummaryWolf Tails is a visual novel where you take care of two wolf-girls. There's Mirari, a kindhearted girl who is running away from her duties to her pack, and Fuyu, a brash and loud-mouthed girl who is wary of human culture and its influences.
