    I would fully recommend this game to people who know a little one who loves music, and is just starting to get into the world of video gaming.

    Though largely inoffensive in its sloppiness, Alvin and the Chipmunks amounts to a forgettable budget title priced like a premium release this holiday season - as if you needed another reason to abstain from it.

    When you can't fail a song, your character models don't even seem to be performing while tracks are playing in the background, and there's no impact on how the Chipmunks play, you realize that this is a weak attempt at cashing in on the upcoming movie, and it's being sold at full price instead of at a discount, no less.

    I bought this game for my six year old grandson, who thinks it's "okay"; however, compared with other games he has I personally think its cheap and rubbishy. Certainly not worth £19.99. Visually its very disappointing. Kids like lots of colour; this was like watching a line drawing with three 3d characters plonked in the middle (to keep you happy I suppose). I feel cheated. In a word - rubbish… Expand

    Jaw-droppingly bad on every level, Alvin and the Chipmunks will only ruin a child's day with its horrible design choices which totally destroy the experience. The interface is clunky and is not suited for it. The graphics look awful, and there were games on the PSone and N64 that looked better. Oh, and you can't even enjoy the songs placed here either because the bastard chipmunks sing the lyrics which makes the experience even worse. Don't you dare buy it. Want to know how truly awful it is? It was bad enough to cause Brash Entertainment to fold.… Expand
