  1. This game mixes Gundam and fighting games in just the right amount, and I look forward to the tearing of metal limbs that will occur in my house for some time to come.
  2. There’s just a certain feeling that a Gundam game has that’s part wistful romanticism and part kick ass action, and what you get with Battle Assault 3 Featuring Gundam SEED manages to convey both equally.
  3. If watching a three-ton robot swing a plasma sword gets your freak on, go snag a copy. [Jan 2005, p.72]
  4. It's safe to say that only the most diehard of Gundam fans could possibly find anything at all to like about this game.
  5. Movement is stiff, and you'll often be next to your enemy but miss him completely. It's like whiffing in T-ball. [Jan 2005, p.122]
  6. I was insulted having to play this game. Then I was embarrassed. Then I was enraged...The idea that kids can pilot these mechs, or that there's any reason for them to be doing so, is so ridiculous that I wish that I could reach inside my giant mech body and squish the annoying little bastards.

It's an insult to anyone's intelligence and especially to fans of the series who at least deserve a game that doesn't assault them with its own faults.

If you talk about graphics, sounds, and actually following the storyline, this game does all this. Now you have to remember this was created back in 2004. Generally, this game got bad reviews before it came out because it was compared to fighting games or third person shooters or beat em ups. The main problem with this was that it isnt really any of those genres so much as a mixture of them. It is a game that you actually have to play and being good at this game against other humans becomes extremely difficult because every thing you choose is broken and weak at the same time. Expand
