ChrisLloydFeb 16, 20038Great graphics but playability not up top CMR 2. You don't know what position you are in- very frustrating!

AndyS.Feb 8, 20037It's OK but WRC2 is much better.

ArranAKAB.A.MJan 4, 200310Best rally sim ever....even better than the rallying area on GT3. Its all bollocks about the cars on it handling realistically...on the tarmac races there close to perfect but on the rallying part they dont slide or skid how a real car would. Where as CMR3 is perfect.

LeeH.Feb 16, 20038This game is cool!

WillV.Feb 23, 200310Exellent detail in the cars and scenery will keep you staring at it for days. Everything said about bad handling is rubbish, it's called REALISTIC! I wonder if the people who comment on the bad handling have ever actually driven.

DannyG.Feb 7, 20039Apart from the fact that you have to be Colin Mcrae in championship mode, this game has it all. I can't stop playing it.

HenningH.Feb 9, 20038This is not a game - it´s pure realism and may be frustrating to some users - those who love real rally action will love cmr3

MattL.Dec 1, 20026A Disapointment GT3 has the right feeling and car handling for rallying, CM3 doesn't have it at all... Sadly:-(

PaulW.Dec 5, 20026Good but not Great, mulitplayer is really poor!

LGOct 25, 20035Codemasters really dropped the ball on this one. While the game features gorgeous graphics, it is brought down by a depth of features that comes close to free magazine demo disks. No multiplayer rallies, the ability to be only McRae and ONLY drive the Focus really make this game a rental-only, as you won't have anything to do once you complete it. Shame, Codemasters.

SpeedDec 26, 20026Alright, but the lack of cars and modes screw this up. You can only be the ford focus which SUCKS and the only other mode is single rally. (By the way, GT3 rally is not as fun as proper rally sims)

KendoJan 12, 20039Apart frm those damn trees that keep getting in my way and breaking my car i love this game.

NeilW.Aug 27, 20047Good game, Don't think its the best.. WRC is probably better.. its hard to comare the two.. thought they were very similar..

JohnM.Jun 23, 20055I think this entire series is overrated. The cars handle as if there is a single pivot point in the center. Not realistic, and not fun compared to many other rally racers where the cars behave in a more believable manner. As Gran Turismo proved almost a decade ago, handling is of the utmost importance.

Codies made too many changes from CMR2 (the front end and in-service menus) and not enough (the graphics!) at the same time.
-
89The physics, sense of speed, handling and graphics are dazzling, top-notch effects that rocket this game to the top of the heap. On the other hand, the sheer lack of game modes is disturbing.
-
90That, combined with the absorbing way the game draws you into the season, through neat animations and an impossibly stylish menu system, makes this the motor sport title to own - for purists and weekend drivers alike.
