  1. A good addition to the series, but it's not different enough to appeal to anyone other than the biggest of DDR fans.

The backgrounds are bright, but often make it tough to see the arrows. I prefer the music video levels, where some decent-quality FMV accompanies the song. There aren't enough of them, though.
  3. Though I'm not particularly thrilled with the accomplishment-based method of unlocking songs, it's more of a minor annoyance than something that breaks the game.
  4. 60
Save for a handful of relatively current songs, most of which are unlockable, the music is purely recycled from earlier games. Some of the new gameplay modes are interesting, like playing online, but a "workout mode" hardly seems innovative.
  5. 60
Nothing terribly new and exciting, just another solid entry into Konami's dancing series.
  6. The latest in the DDR franchise debuts an online mode, and loads of the songs to get your groove on. Solid dancer, but perhaps not a must-have title.
  7. If your old DDR game needs a song update along with some new features, give it a shot.

The songs stay in my head for weeks after playing. I play this game everyday. Every minute I play is pure music fun. And even better, I have The songs stay in my head for weeks after playing. I play this game everyday. Every minute I play is pure music fun. And even better, I have a DDR drum pad to play the game with, which puts an entirely new and fun spin on the game. Without quiestion, the best DDR game out there today! Buy now or forever live in shame! Full Review »

Significant improvement over DDRX, but the arcane unlocking system and subpar workout mode keeps it from being great.
