  • Summary: Gallop Racer 2006 is set in a horse racing theme park called Gallop Racing Square, with five attractions that you can freely select between. Title Collection has you select a horse, either a real life stallion or one that you've created, and follow it from early races until retirement. Gallop Stallion is the game's horse creation mode. Memorial Quest allows players to relive the experience of 100 classic races. Hall of Fame is an expansion of Memorial Quest mode, featuring fifty races.     This is not a title to sit down and play five minutes worth before you run out for errands. But if you devote some time to learning about horses and the racing itself, Gallop Racer 2006 is surprisingly rewarding.

    This game is great! I know a lot about horse racing and this game didn't have one thing wrong with it. The graphics are really nice and season mode is incredible! It's worth every penny!… Expand

    This is a great addition to the Gallop Racer series! I loved being able to make my own horses and race them. When I say make, I don't mean breed either, I mean you can go into the Free Mode and pick your horses color, sillks, markings, tack, body type, running style, and give make it as good or bad as you want, along with giving the abilities YOU want it to have! I made a horse with all the highest ratings just for fun. The graphics are really good to and you can also edit your own races! It's a great game!… Expand

    I'm new to GR. After playing BCC I like GR for the most part, but there are a few things I would change. I dont like the fact that you can only race one horse at a time. Once you pick a MyHorse to race you are stuck with it until it wins so many races. I do like the breeding aspect of the game, trying to find the perfect combo. I did figure out to edit a F horse into a "Super Horse" in Simulation mode and then race it in Theme Park mode to win lots of money so I can breed to my hearts content.… Expand
