  • Summary: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is an entirely new game in the Grand Theft Auto series and brings a mobile dimension to this epic experience. The original storyline and all new missions take place in Liberty City, featuring the interactive, open environment, voice talent and diverse music that have become pioneering trademarks of the series. 1. There's no multiplayer, and other GTA games are bigger or have more famous voice actors and more well-known soundtracks. But $20 for a fairly fresh GTA game on PS2 seems amazingly fair to us.
  2. A Grand Theft Auto III Remix. A bit pointless on PS2, then. [Aug 2006, p.32]
  3. If this is going to be your first GTA game you may want to skip this outing and start at the beginning of the GTA revolution, that being the Grand Theft Auto III.
  4. Except for die-hard GTA fans who don't own a PSP, I wouldn't recommend 'Liberty Cities' to anyone, even those who have never given the GTA a series a shot.

This game rocks. If you like gta vice city/gta san andreas your gonna love this.
  2. Tony Cipirani returns as a badass in Liberty City Stories. LCS is the second last installment in the GTA III universe and it takes place 3 years before GTA III and its well better than GTA III. LCS has the same graphics as San Andreas but its not better in my perspective, The gameplay looks the same the story was really cool it really felt like you were a part of the Mafia. The Best thing about the game was Tony Cipirani because we all know him from GTA III but now its all about him so really cool, the worst thing about the game was that it was not released on the PC or XBOX. But overall the game just had me completly blown away. 8/10 Expand

for people that don't have a psp and are harcore GTA fans may find some joy in this, but if you got a psp, buy this game on that. it9;s actually plays better. the controls feel clunky, it's not polished. the game is small in comparison to other GTA games. the game isn't all that bad though, just not a sony or rockstar quality ps2 game. good for low budget gamers. Even tho i enjoy playing and am a huge fan of all the gta games i thought liberty city stories would be a great follow up but it was a huge let down to having played last san andreas, being set in the same islands as gta 3 made it not very exciting, mission's were too easy if you ask me and not very challenging at all...it didnt take me long to complete...i thought tht games were to be imporved as they went along this jus proves im wrong and liberty city stories is a insult to the other 3.
