  • Summary: In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry is mysteriously selected as the fourth competitor in the dangerous Triwizard Tournament. Each contestant in this international competition must confront a fire-breathing dragon, rescue friends from the icy depths of the Black Lake, and navigate the twisting mysteries of a vast, dangerous maze. Players experience all the thrills of the movie - from the Quidditch World Cup campsite to a heart-stopping duel with Lord Voldemort himself. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all playable characters, modeled after their big-screen counterparts. In this game, an all-new spell-casting system allows players to feel the magic for the first time as the controller shakes and reacts with every flick of the wand. Players can also team up with friends in co-operative play to combine their magic and produce more powerful spells than ever before. [Electronic Arts] Expand

  1. The game changes a few of the things Harry fans have come to expect from the games, and though aimed at a younger audience, Harry fans will find a lot to like in the game.
  2. Series fans will find a lot to love in this title, which offers an attractive, immersive, and most importantly, fun excursion into the world of J.K. Rowling's imaginative works.
  3. While Goblet of Fire might be a more exciting and fun game than the rest of the Potter series, it still lacks many of the ingredients that made the Lord of the Rings-based games so much fun.
  4. 70
The constant action means the Harry Potter series has always lent itself well to the video-game format, and thankfully (albeit surprisingly) EA has mostly improved upon their winning formula, while upping the ante visually and adding welcome multiplayer features, easily making the Goblet of Fire their best adaptation yet.
  5. An exciting adventure that will keep you engaged until the final battle.
  6. It’s a healthy change of pace for the series. However, these moments fade out fast as you find yourself repeating levels over and over just so you can move on.
  7. An unbelievably lazy title that just feels cheap. It has poor gameplay that the target audience will just fall asleep at, which only adds to the infuriating realisation that it will still sell thanks to the lightning scarred teen’s name.

I love this game. You can choose either Harry, Hermione and Ron along with your sis or bro. The game is really scary and the one with harry being chased by a big fire breathing dragon while he is in a broom is epic. I love the story very much. Expand

This is a very good game, yes it could have been better if it was more open world ( exploring Hogwarts and everything ), but still as a game it's very good, for an open world there's HP and the Order of the Phoenix. But lets talk about this one. The first task was amazing the best in my opinion, the battle against Lord Voldemort was pretty good too, the second task was not bad, another good thing about this game is that you can play as Harry, Ron, or Hermione in any parts (except the three tasks of course), the characters built up was a good job. this game deserve's an overall of 7 and even 8/10, but i'll give it a 9/10 cause it is good. I love this game because of the cool graphics, the action and the selection of characters.
But I don't like the background, creatures and how
the characters are graphically displayed Expand

If I remember correctly this game was oddly average, having a good card system to upgrade your potter. But repetitive puzzles make this game a solid 4/5. Expand

The game took the old style which I was fond of, and changed it to... a top down shooter. The game may be better than a four, but due to the fact that I put down the controller after only a little bit, disappointed, leaves me with a sinking feeling that this game is not nearly as good as the last three.
