As the mind clears with time spent away from the game one realizes that the horse riding was still crap and the horses rode like a busted up Oldsmobile from the 70s, but it was less crap than the rest.

One of the best games I've ever played. Great for horse lovers and lets you experience motherhood.

Nothing like the cover looks. Outstanding 3d graphics and an elaborate story, but not cutsie and not for little kids. This is a complex 3-d adventure game set in Italy in a competitive equestrian environment. I was under the impression it was like the classic Dogz and Catz series' except with Horsez. Expand

I agree the packaging and marketing, including the game home website, are very decpetive to those familiar with the Dogz and Catz games. The ponies and butterflies on the box are a stark contrast to the scenery and storyline inside. Yes, the horses, graphics, and scenery are striking and well executed in their own way, but the characters, music, and aspects of the storyline are not appropriate for younger children who might be attracted by the association to the Dogz/Catz series. Adults and older teens can make their own decisons and might find gameplay appealing, but my 6-year old will not be playing this. Expand
