    If you're looking for the hottest new RPG with the flashiest graphics and some newfangled game mechanics, you'll probably be a bit disappointed. But if you're into the anime and want something that's guaranteed to have you playing well into the wee hours, this game is going to be smiling and waving at you the next time you're at your favorite game shop.

    The trouble is doing any sort of action requires using 3 or 4 menus, which is okay in itself, but in InuYasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask, each menu takes twice as long as it needs to, dragging the battles horridly. Combined with a fairly high encounter rate, it seems to take forever to accomplish anything.

    This is a great game. I love playing it and the events that takes place in the game are fun and exciting.

    This game may have not been the best, but it was cute and even pretty fun. I love inuyasha, and the game was nothing compared to it...but even though i hated the character i was, i liked the rpg idea...and sometimes you got to pick what you wanted to do, and hang out with people. All in all it has its ups- the anime footage, the cute scenes, and everyones voice acting cept for the players...-.- and the not so good stuff- the graphics, the battles, and the continuous music (although i liked some of it) Its not amazing, but I liked it. I hope there will be another better one someday.… Expand

    7/10 mostly because of alot of things I've noticed in the game that affected my ability to enjoy it.
    First off, the voice acting is so sub-pa    r, the male lead of the game has terrible voice acting in regular conversations but sounded good in battles, as for the female lead voices in conversations sounded better but in battle, it sounds tooo wimpy.

    Secondly, the gameplay is way to slow, the battles are slow as hell, by the time I get in to a battle, its already been 10 mins.

    But enough with way it was wrong, now on to way it was good enough to be a 7.
    The story was interesting, despite battles being slow it was fun, the friendship/relationship events that happen are always a joy:), I enjoyed the high replay value as the number of different events happen to the lead.

    Overall I liked it and it would be a great collection to your PS2.    … Expand

    I have to be honest I love Inu Yasha and have anjoyed both the anime and the manga for years but this game was disappointing. If you are a real hard core RPG fan than this game isnt for you. The battles are repetitive and the story line is bland. Not to mentioin that there are ALOT of grammatical errors. Basically within an hour you'll be bored out your skull and angry that you spent your money. I do give the game this it HAD promise. The grapics are cute but once again all the towns look alike adding to the feeling that everything is the same. MY over all opinion is dont buy this if youre looking for an inovative RPG. If your a die hard fan of Inu Yahsa you may be able to find entertainment in this game...somewhere....… Expand
