  • Summary: LEGO Star Wars combines two childhood favourites, LEGO and Star Wars, to create an innovative and exciting action-adventure title designed for young gamers. The game is based on "The Phantom Menace," "Attack of the Clones" and the eagerly awaited "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith." Blending the unique world of designs of LEGO toys with the unforgettable characters of the prequel eras of the Star Wars universe, LEGO Star Wars will offer dynamic vehicles, environments and characters to young players, who will be able to live all of the adventures of the most memorable and exciting scenes from the Star Wars films. 1. A spectacular gem of a game that’s for once suitable for just about anyone.
  2. This is one game, perhaps the only game, where it's a compliment to say that the graphics are blocky.
  3. The game's short length, infinite continues, and co-op mode make it an excellent rental for older folks, while kids will be happy to replay the levels to death and track down every last secret. [May 2005, p.125]
  4. The core gameplay is somewhat lacking. ‘But it’s for kids,’ we hear you cry. Maybe so, but even kids - or those who are just young at heart - will no doubt want a challenge that lasts longer than it would take to watch the original trilogy. [May 2005, p.109]

This is the most fun I've had with a video game in years. Sure it might be designed for kids, but it satisfies the kid in all of us. Game play is fun, the animated sequences are entertaining, and best of all is you resurect everytime and at the same place. Details for scenery are excellent. My only gripe: having to max out the Jedi bar for every level to open the mystery door. Aside of that, bring on the original trilogy! Expand
