There's simply nothing redeeming about Acme Arsenal. It's an incredibly poor, woefully unentertaining use of a great license, and an absolute bore to play. It doesn't get nearly enough right to be anywhere close to average, and becomes its own worst enemy with a cavalcade of embarrassing glitches.
  2. Poor execution, no real personality and identical gameplay across multiple characters squash the fun factor like a 50-ton Acme anvil.
  3. Next to sharing the screen with Michael Jordan, this game has to be the low point in Bugs Bunny's career. [Dec 2007, p.140]
  4. Dull, repetitive, and carelessly programmed don't even begin to sum up how crummy this action game based on the Looney Tunes license is.

If you're truly after a vapid brawling experience, by all means, be our guest. Overall, however, AA is a shallow trip down license lane, and that's all, folks.
  6. Frustrating, disheartening and broken in places: a perfect recipe for making kids cry. [Christmas 2007, p.95]

Unfortunately Acme Arsenal never really delivers. The gameplay is repetitive and bland, never really offering a great deal of enjoyment. One of Bug’s quips as he topples enemies in the game is, “now this is fun.” We’re sorry Bug’s, but you’re sorely mistaken.
  8. It's a below-average platformer in a Bugs Bunny outfit, and that's all folks. [Christmas 2007, p.112]
  9. Acme Arsenal has its fun moments, but only if you don't think too hard. [Dec 2007, p.89]
  10. Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal is a seriously flawed game that continually stops the player from reveling in old-time cartoon entertainment.
