  1. It's one of the best PS2 baseball games and it's a lot less money than any other version of the game.
  2. On the downside, 2K need to seriously fire their testers--we did a double-take checking to see that we were playing a final build of the game with all the gonzo A.I. and animation glitches we ran into. [May 2007, p.83]

    A month of polishing would have ironed out some ghastly bugs. Some are funny. Some kill the fun of the game.
  4. It’s solid enough and has depth aplenty, but the lack of spit and polish keeps it on the virtual bench. It’s worth a cup of coffee as a rental, but not quite a spot in the starting rotation.
  5. MLB 2K7 is a decent game, but it's painfully obvious how little effort the developer put into improving this year's game over last year's.
